1. Program Overview
The Mya Kids Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by promoting our children's books and educational products. By participating in this program, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined below.
2. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
- Must have a valid tax identification number (for tax reporting purposes)
- Must maintain an active social media presence or website
- Must comply with FTC guidelines for affiliate marketing disclosures
- Must not engage in spam, unethical marketing practices, or trademark infringement
3. Commission Structure
- Commission Rate: 10% on all qualified sales
- Cookie Duration: 30 days from initial click
- Minimum Payout: $50.00 USD
- Payment Schedule: Monthly (processed within 30 days of month-end)
- Payment Methods: PayPal, Venmo, or Bank Transfer
4. Acceptable Marketing Practices
Allowed:
- Social media posts with proper FTC disclosures
- Blog reviews and recommendations
- Email marketing to your own list
- Organic content creation (videos, photos, stories)
- Word-of-mouth recommendations
Prohibited:
- Spam email or unsolicited messages
- Misleading or false advertising
- Paid search advertising on our brand terms
- Adult, violent, or inappropriate content association
- Self-purchasing or fraudulent transactions
5. FTC Disclosure Requirements
Important: You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship with Mya Kids in all promotional content. Use phrases like "This post contains affiliate links" or "I earn a commission from qualifying purchases" prominently in your posts.
6. Intellectual Property
- You may use provided marketing materials in your promotions
- You may not modify our logos, images, or brand materials
- You may not register domains containing our trademarks
- All intellectual property rights remain with Mya Kids
7. Application and Approval Process
- All applications are subject to review and approval
- We reserve the right to deny any application without explanation
- Approval typically takes 2-3 business days
- We may request additional information during the review process
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to terminate affiliate accounts at any time for:
- Violation of these terms and conditions
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
- Inactivity for 12+ months
- Engaging in prohibited marketing practices
9. Tax Responsibilities
You are responsible for all taxes related to affiliate commissions earned. We will provide 1099 forms for US affiliates earning $600+ annually. International affiliates are responsible for their own tax compliance.
10. Limitation of Liability
Mya Kids is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the affiliate program. Our liability is limited to the commission amounts owed to you.
11. Program Changes
We reserve the right to modify these terms, commission rates, or program structure at any time with 30 days' notice. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.
