We send one-time SMS messages (delivery notifications only) to help families access event photos. We do not send promotional SMS blasts or purchase phone lists.
At in-person Mya Kids Club events, staff obtain explicit verbal consent before sending any text. Staff record consent in our event upload system using the checkbox below the parent's phone number.
Staff script (read aloud)
“Hi! This is Mya Kids Club at [event name]. Would you like us to send a one-time text message to your phone with a private link to your child's event photos? Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Is that okay?”
If the parent says yes, staff collect the mobile number and check the consent box in our staff upload form before sending. If the parent says no, no text is sent.
On myakids.com/photos, customers may optionally enter a mobile number when buying a digital event photo. By entering a number and checking the consent box, they agree to receive a one-time text with their download link in addition to email.
Typically one message per purchase or per family gallery link. Messages include a link to our website only. Download links expire after the period shown at checkout (usually 30 days).
